2 QB Mechanics Tips

When it comes to throwing mechanics, 2 things are certain for a QB. You need good mechanics to play at the next level and you can get really good at bad habits. Now if you look at every successful PASSER not a dual threat guy, but a pure passer, they have similar mechanics. They have a “back stroke” which means they don’t lift the ball directly to 90. Now I know a lot of you have been taught that but find me one NFL QB who does that... didn’t think so. So why should you? Just because you have been throwing like that forever doesn’t mean that you are at your full potential. I hear guys say “oh don’t change the QB if he throws good”. Now in my opinion, that QB isn’t at his full potential if he’s not mechanically sound. Which brings me to my next point, you can get VERY GOOD at doing something bad. That’s just life. If you do something over and over again you’re eventually gonna build a habit, but is it a bad habit? You need to study the best guys who throw a football. If you don’t know what to study that’s where I come in. If you want me to take a look at your mechanics or even your highlight tape, become a member on my website. You can submit your film every month and I give you a breakdown just like how I would breakdown Tom Brady or Drew Brees on my Instagram/Youtube. Click the link below!
