They look for physicality. If you can be a physical receiver in today’s game, that is rare. Most receivers are afraid to block, scared of contact and don’t want to hit. Being physical is a good way to stand out to college scouts


High football IQ. Understanding your playbook and when to sit in coverage is going to be HUGE for you when you go to college. That is very rare for receivers to understand. Last but certainly not least, you need to catch every ball. Nothing a QB or a offensive coordinator (the two people who decide if you get the ball) hates more than a dropped pass.
