40 time isn’t everything. It’s unfortunately a way coaches will measure your speed so I discuss these averages with you to let you know a good baseline of where you should be at your age. If you’re .1 or .2 seconds off of this time- that’s not the end of the world. Just have to constantly improve your speed to elevate your overall game.

RB- 5.1
WR/DB- 4.9-5.0
LB- 5.4
TE- 5.4
OL/DL- 5.8
