So initially, I want to explain to you guys that the 40 isn’t everything. What’s most important is game speed but at the receiver position your speed is heavily scouted. So at camps or a combine your 40 time is a great way to stand out if college coaches haven’t seen your film yet. So for the D1 level I would say you should be running a 4.6 or below.
