Now, deadlift can be a great exercise athletically for your lower half, lower back, core & grip. But it is also one of the most dangerous exercises you can do with bad form. I know a lot of you do this and max out so we will be discussing some averages for varsity players- but if you’re not at these numbers it’s not the end of the world. Don’t force it with bad form. I’ve seen so many injuries & it’s not worth it to hurt your lower back. Safety is your number one priority.
