How Short WRs Can Ball Out

Short WRs can do these two things to help them ball out. Focus on having sudden/quick feet and staying in a low center of gravity. When you have quick feet it makes it harder for DBs to get hands on you and knock you off your route. So on a release don’t waste anytime. You can’t be the most physical guy because of your size but if you are strategic with your feet and hand technique, off the line shouldn’t be an issue for you. Now when I say low center of gravity I mean don’t pick your pad level up. If you “expose your numbers” you will get knocked off your route. Stay low to the ground. Use your size to your advantage. Don’t pop up. If you stay low, have quick feet, and always have your hands working, you will get separation and your size will not be a factor.
