So if you are injured there are a few things you want to keep in mind and focus on. And the first one I want to get across to you is to attend EVERY practice. Unless you are at some type of appointment to help with your rehab etc. But if you can move the appointment to later in the day so you can attend practice do it. The worst thing you can do is miss when you are injured. Coaches will notice. Coaches understand if you’re getting treatment or doing concussion protocol but you don’t want them to forget about you. You should be at every practice, every meeting and every film session. Now you might be thinking, “I’m injured why do I need to be there”. And the answer is that you don’t want to fall behind. I think a lot of guys get hurt & lose their spot because they are weeks behind on their playbook and adjustments the team makes. Guys it’s football. We make adjustments and changes every week. So you want to make sure you are on the same page with everyone while you are hurt so you can hit the ground running when you come back. You will have to earn your spot back, but at least mentally you will be on the same level as everyone.Second thing I’d say to keep in mind is that you have to attack rehab. Sitting around and waiting unless it’s a serious injury, is bad. If there are things you can do to get back to the field faster, do them. And be consistent with them everyday.
Also, we will be hosting a series of OL,DL,RB,LB & DB camps in 15 states this year as well! Here is the info below ⬇️⬇️
