The best way to improve your footwork is by working with resistance in my opinion. A lot of guys need to get quicker feet but don’t know what to do for it. Working ladder drills may help but In game like drills I would suggest working resistance. Having a resistance band attached to you while you do drills is great or working in sand is my favorite. Do the same cone,ladder, or hurdle drills you normally do, but with resistance and you will be much lighter on your feet. Sand work and band work are the two I use with my guys and the ones I got the best results with as a player.
