1)- Cover 6- Cover 6 is when one side of the defense is in Cover 4- the other is in Cover 2. They call it Cover 6 because 4+2 =6

2)- Cover 3 Buzz- there are 3 types of cover 3 generally. Cover 3 “sky” is the traditional one where the safety covers the flats when he rolls down from a 2 high defense. Cover 3 “Buzz” is when the backer covers the flats and the safety rolls down to play the hook/curl zone. Then Cover 3 “Cloud” is when the corner plays the flats and the safety goes to play the Deep 3rd. The first letter of Sky, Buzz or Cloud represents the defender who is in charge of the flats.
