1)- Cover 2- in cover 2 the corners are responsible for the flats. So they would drive down on the 5YD out and you can throw the fade. Since it’s 2 deep safeties you would throw the fade as a “hole shot”. Which means it is on a line so the safety doesn’t have time to get there. A smart receiver will settle in the window
2)- Cover 3. Cover 3 is weak to the sideline. So the corner would most likely bail with the fade and then you’d read the flat defender which is either a safety rolled down or an outside backer. If he sits with the 5YD flat- throw the 10YD out. If he goes with the 10YD out, take the flat.
