So we like this play vs. either cover 4 or cover 2.
If we see cover 4- our read is going to be the outside linebacker. If he runs with the flat- we look to throw the snag route. If the corner for whatever reason runs with the snag we can hit the corner route from our slot.
If it’s cover 2- we like the corner route. The corner will sit with the flat- outside backer takes the snag- so we throw the corner route on a line so the safety doesn’t have time to make a play. Can’t throw this corner with touch.
