To play college receiver you need to be reliable. In order to make plays you need to catch everything thrown your way but you guys have already heard me talk about this. What I want to talk to you about today is physicality. College receivers need to be on a different level when it comes to being physical. Off the line you can’t be afraid of contact. Be prepared for much bigger and stronger DBs so you cannot try to avoid contact. And after you catch the ball you need to have a mindset that you are always going forward. You need to play almost angry. The level of physicality that you need after the catch will directly translate into all aspects of your game. Being a physical receiver is a must if you want to play at the collegiate level. If you want to be a more physical receiver you need to put on muscle.
