2 Tips To Improve Your Release

2 ways you can improve your release are by keeping a good pad level and being sudden with your feet. Off the line a lot of guys like to pop their chest up in the air, what happens is that you are immediately susceptible to getting popped from a DB. If you do that you can easily get knocked off of your route. Try to keep your chest down and be in an explosive pad level position. Obviously not hunched over but in a position that is explosive. Secondly, you want your feet to be sudden, outside of the DBs frame but inside of your frame. What I mean by that is I don’t want you to reach. Don’t lunge and make these slow “powerful” steps. You want your feet to be quick, generate energy from the inside part of your foot and to create some explosion.
