1)- Lifting properly.

Everyone wants to lift heavy and that’s important for strength. But maxing out and doing 1-3 rep maxes isn’t going to get you bigger. Lifting in an 8-12 rep range to failure and doing 3-4 sets of that per exercise is going to help you put on muscle. So make sure you incorporate those types of lifting days into your routine.

2)- Protein consumption. If you are let’s say 160lbs and you want to get to 170lbs- you should consume 1g of protein per pound of desired body weight. So consume 170G of protein a day. If you would like a great protein powder to help you hit those goals (hard to do without a protein powder) specifically made to help athletes gain weight, checkout this link below! ⬇️⬇️

3)- Eat clean calories. As football players we never want to lose athleticism. So if you do a “dirty bulk” aka eating literally anything under the sun… you will gain fat not muscle and can potentially slow down speed wise. So I always recommend eating “single ingredient foods” as your source of calories. Examples are “rice” “chicken” “potatoes” etc.
