BEST GEAR FOR WRs THIS SEASON!

We get asked this question a lot, “coach what are the best cleats for WRs” or the “best pads” etc. So we figured we would make an article about it to clear up what our preferences are.

1)- Cleats: New Adizero Electric + Cleats

These are the lightest cleats I’ve ever worn. Support is decent too. But as a WR if you like light cleats I think these are the best ones Adidas has come out with in a long time.

2)- Helmets: New Riddell Axiom.

Helmets are all about vision and comfort. I tried one of these the other day and with the skill player facemask that is wider, I feel your vision is much better. And it’s a comfortable helmet 

3)- Pads: 2 in 1 shoulder pads.

Yes, they are expensive. I recommend the polyester ones not the carbon fiber ones. The carbon fiber ones are a little ridiculous in price. But I’m telling you, it’s worth it. These have the best mobility possible for a WR and you can fully touch your hands over your head.

4)- Gloves: Adizero Electric Gloves.

Again, I feel these are the best gloves I’ve seen Adidas come out with. I’ve been using them since February and it is now June. They still have a great amount of stick and are very comfortable.
