BEST WAY TO GET THE BALL MORE

One of the most frustrating things as a WR is not getting the ball when you know you have the skills to be a playmaker. What can you do to make sure this doesn’t happen or that it stops happening? You can be a 2nd QB on the field. A lot of WRs neglect studying film or their opponent because they figure that’s the QBs job and they will figure it out when they get there because that’s what they did in 7on7. Completely the worst thing you can do. You need to be watching just as much film as your QB because if you can be on the same page as him, he will be confident in you to get you the ball. If you understand coverages and what the defense is trying to accomplish you will be able to find holes in the defense to sit in for your QB. You will understand exactly where your QB wants to go with the ball. If he trusts you, you will get the ball. As a QB when I played, I threw to the guys I could trust to come up with the ball. If you weren’t a hard worker or a guy who studied, I wasn’t confident in you. So THE BEST way to get the ball is by being a 2nd QB on the field much like Julian Edelman because he played QB in college.
