To be a college quarterback you need to have an exceptional understanding of the game. You have to be able to see things on the field before they even happen. So you must prepare for all situations possible. The best way to prepare for defensive looks, fronts and coverages is to draw it out. Whether it is on a sheet or paper or a white board. You have to see the coverage a million times in your head but you also have to be able to apply what you see onto paper. That’s what they ask you to do at the next level.
