How To Stay Focused

Sometimes an athletes biggest problem is staying focused. They lose sight of their goals or what they need to do every single week to make sure they get the win. Now the best way to stay focused is to ignore the noise. All the negative things people say about you and all the positive things people say about you needs to be tuned out. The negative things people say just try to bring you down and distract you. It’s clear why you don’t want to listen to those because you always want to have a positive mindset if you want to accomplish anything. Tuning out the positive is a whole different animal. It’s very easy to listen to what people say about you. They say how good you are etc. and some people can buy into that. That’s the worst because you begin to think you are good enough. You don’t have to do the extra work or go as hard because you’re “that good”. The bottom line is nothing anybody else says matters. If it is an external opinion it’s a distraction. Tune out the noise and you will stay focused on your goals.
