So when it comes to gaining weight- at the end of the day it’s all about calories in vs. calories out. If you track your calories that you burn with either a fit bit, Apple Watch or something of that nature- then it’s simple, just look on the back of food ingredient labels of the food you eat & see how many calories you are consuming. Let’s say you burn 1,000 calories a day- to gain weight you want to eat 50% above the calories you burn. So in this example it would be 1,500 calories a day.


Now some people don’t necessarily have the time or the resources to do this- so a simpler thing you can do is have 2 protein shakes a day.

Have 1 after breakfast and 1 after dinner & do this for 2 weeks straight. 1 scoop of protein powder, maybe half a cup of oatmeal & then some berries will do. If you do that everyday for 2 weeks and still don’t gain weight- then I recommend eating more meals or bigger meals to increase your calorie count.
