Improve Hands Without A QB

When you don’t have a QB to throw to you there are a couple things you can do to improve your hands. You need tennis balls and that’s about it. If you don’t have any tennis balls, get some. You can use any kind of small ball just tennis balls work best. Be creative don’t look for an excuse as lame as that one. First off I would bounce them off of a wall regularly just throwing with your right hand and catching with your left and vice versa. After you get 50 on each hand I would move on to over the shoulder catches. Get your back against a wall and toss them above your head so it hits high on the wall and you gotta catch it while it drops in, catch one handed. I would do another set of 50 on each hand. Also what you can do is improve your grip strength. That’s a key to great hands as well. Finger tip push ups are a great exercise that require no equipment, if your hands aren’t strong enough for that, go on your knees and do finger tip push ups from there.
