Mental Side of QB

If you play QB you need to spend as much time on the mental side of things as you do on the physical. How should you go about studying the mental side though? You need to understand defenses first. Understand the differences between man coverage and zone coverage and what are the indicators for that. Know the basics first. Cover 0,1,2,3,4, and 6. Then you can get to the more complicated situations. But that’s a good foundation to start with. Start by studying the DBs responsibilities and then the D-Line/ LBs. Then you can break down your playbook and what would be good against certain coverages. You should be spending an hour a day on the mental side of the game.
