I get this question all of the time, usually from guys entering their freshman year. If you already have a position picked, this isn't meant to discourage you.

This is genuinely for the guys who don't know what to play based on their size.

QB) - Purely skill based. Being tall for a freshman like 5'10+ helps- but if you don't have the skills, a shorter guy will start over you.

RB)- Shorter but generally weigh a good amount.

Around 5'6-5'8 & 130-14Olbs

WR/DB)- Around 5'6-5'9 l'd say. And generally the skinniest guys on the team. 120-130lbs

LB)- Little taller than RBs & weigh more. I'd say like 5'8-5'9 but 150-160lbs

TE)- Taller like 5'10-5'11 and anywhere from 175-200lbs depending on height.

OL/DL- Biggest guys on the team. Generally guys who weigh 200lbs and have a higher body fat %.

Anywhere from 5'10-6'0+
