So many people start out with these huge goals for themselves or for their team. And rightfully so. You should. You need to think big. You are already thinking in the first place so why not think big and set your goals high. But most of you won’t achieve it. I’m gonna tell you why.
The key to hitting any goal is work. If you don’t work for your dreams they won’t work for you. I know you guys have heard this 100 times but it’s the truth. But how can you stay motivated when a goal seems so far off? The key is patience. If you don’t work everyday with the one goal in mind as your fuel to get out of bed and get to the gym you won’t make it. You have lost your clarity on your reason why. You need to always find the reason why you work so hard and stay with that. That’s the only way to succeed. If you lose sight, the work becomes painful. You have to fall in love with the process.
All the greats love the work. Kobe Bryant for example. He worked for 8 hours everyday because he loved the grind of pursuing what he wanted. Anybody can love what success brings but if you don’t love the PROCESS you won’t be as successful as the greats. They are addicted to the process. Everyday they wake up and they think about how they can get better at their craft. That’s how you have to be. It’s going to be a long process. Rome wasn’t built in a day. But if you learn to trust the process, it’s going to be a fun journey towards your goal. Everyday is a battle and Oregon says it best... Win The Day.
