WR Hand Fighting Tips

When it comes to hand fighting off the line against a DB, don’t make it too complicated. I think that’s the place guys struggle with. They try to be too calculated and they think too much. At the end of the day it’s about being physical, protecting your rib cage, and attacking their points of control. Make sure you keep a good pad level and aren’t afraid of contact, use your body weight to defeat the press. When it comes to protecting yourself make sure you keep your elbows tight. If a DB gets a shot on your rib cage that can be one of the most devastating blows because it can really knock you off your route. Elbows stay tight don’t swim your hand over. The technique behind this is you should attack either the DBs elbow, back of the arm or back of the shoulder. Those are the 3 points of attack that are most likely to get his hands off and to move him. If you want more specific and advanced WR tips all in one place, check out the link below! ⬇️⬇️
