3 Accuracy QB Tips

QBs can be more accurate by doing the following 3 things: number one thing that ties into accuracy is front side discipline. What I mean by that is that you do not want to let your front shoulder swing too far open on the release of the ball because that will make your arm come around your frame. Almost like a sidearm throw. This will cause you to miss left and right. Also you don’t want to let your front elbow swing down. This will cause your release to be pushed high and this causes many QBs to miss high and low. Front side discipline is a major key to accuracy. Secondly you want to keep your head level. So many QBs want to watch the flight of the ball or see if they throw a spiral or not and they lean out of the throw. You want to keep your eyes level, almost like you’re looking at a horizon line at the beach. This also effects your arm slot. Head stays level and shoulders stay square. Lastly your wrist flick is an important key to being accurate as well. Flicking your wrist like you are almost throwing at a dart board. And what I mean by that is when you let go of the ball you should extend at the target.
