Below we will be discussing the average squat & power clean maxes for football players based on position at the varsity level. Please do not stress if you’re not at this level you just need to keep working and continue to focus on good form. Max lifts don’t make you a great football player. Strength is important and can help you be one- but don’t start ego lifting to hit these numbers and hurt yourself if you’re not there yet. This is just a good baseline.

QB- Squat:300 Power Clean:205

WR/DB-  Squat:275 Power Clean:185

RB-  Squat:335 Power Clean:225

LB-  Squat:345 Power Clean:235

TE-  Squat:365 Power Clean:250
