2 things that WRs can do to get more play time is the following: you need to be almost a second QB on the field. If you understand coverages as well or almost as well as a QB you will see a lot of play time as a receiver. If you can put yourself in the certain holes in the defense where the QB needs you to be and you guys are constantly on the same page, it will be a deadly combination that the coaches cannot deny. Get in the film room with your QBs and understand what they are looking for and understand the timing they need to have with you. Secondly being able to catch everything is a 100% guarantee to getting on the field. If you are somewhat knowledgeable and athletic, but catch every single ball thrown to you, you won’t miss a snap. That’s a fact. As long as you’re not an idiot and do your assignments correctly you will see a lot of time on the field if you don’t drop passes. Make sure that you are constantly trying to get better hands. 100 catches a day keeps the drops away. If you don’t have someone to throw you 100 passes everyday that is fine, improve your hand eye coordination skills and grip strength. But how do you do that? Check out the link below for a full program with grip strength exercises and a ton of hand eye coordination drills to improve your hands in only 30 days with NO QB NECESSARY ⬇️⬇️⬇️
