How Seniors Can Get An Offer

If you are going into your senior year and don’t have any film, don’t panic. You can still get recruited and you can still get an offer but the biggest thing you need to do is make a mid season highlight tape. Every week you need to be keeping track of your big plays on hudl. Mark them down and keep focusing on building your tape. As soon as 5 games hits you need to make your midseason highlight film. This is something I wish I would have done in high school. I had a phenomenal first 5 games of my senior year, I had offers going into my senior year so I didn’t think it was important to make a mid season tape. But I could have gotten way more recruiting attention if I did. I waited until the end of the season, made my highlight tape and started sending it out to schools like everyone else, however it was too late. Schools had already finished signing everyone. So I had to stick with one of my previous offers. Don’t make that mistake, get your tape made at the 5 game mark. Start sending it out to schools and communicate with your head coach what you want to do. He can help in this whole process.

Another thing you can do to help yourself recruiting wise is build connections in the off season at camps. College camps are great ways to get on a coaches radar. But unfortunately there are so many kids that attend. You need to stand out and the 40yd dash is a great way to do that.
